When to compare a belt-driven platform

The MDK family groups the MD catalog models under a belt-driven platform. Use the same travel, carried load, cycle and installation requirements as for a screw-driven candidate. Longer travel or faster motion is a reason to compare belt options, rather than a performance promise for every MD model.

Confirm the chosen axis

Check the selected model data, mounting drawing and service access. Review belt tension and stiffness as part of the axis proposal, and specify load-holding requirements separately if the axis will be vertical.
